　　2008年3月19日，北京奥组委公布了部分北京奥运会火炬手的名单。原国家队体操运动员桑兰，奥运冠军张国政，歌手杨坤、“超女”李宇春、张靓颖、满文军、王力宏以及体育解说员孙正平等均入选。

　　不过，李宇春等娱乐明星的入选却引起了网民质疑。一些网友认为：“奥运火炬手的选拔应该具有代表性，可是像李宇春这样的娱乐明星，毫无代表奥运的意义。”有的网友则认为李宇春与火炬手的“感人、感动、奉献”的形象不符。
