荧屏上的王学兵总给人深沉、严肃的感觉，一如他在电影《听风者》中扮演的那个身份复杂的特工“老鬼”。看他微博，才发现他也是个名副其实的“萌主”，还把自己的工作室叫做“学好无聊”。在记者对他近一个小时采访中，他畅所欲言，只是再次谈到离婚、说到“孙宁最遗憾没能与你一生一世”这个话题时，电话那头的王学兵略有沉默，坦言“遗憾总是有的，但依旧相信爱情。”不过他也表示绝无可能与前任女友范冰冰复合。

　　记者：《听风者》中你演的角色“老鬼”身份复杂，感情也很复杂，演起来是否很压抑？

　　王学兵：这个角色因有多重身份，很多台词表达的不是字面意思，导演还要求在没什么表情的前提下，表达很多连有表情都不见得能表达出来的东西。所以演起来较累，但也很过瘾。演之前，麦庄(导演麦兆辉、庄文强)给了我一个十页纸的人物小传，这是剧本里没有的，是人物的前史，编了很多情节让我更容易找到这个人物。于是我渐渐在我的身体里构建起另外一个人，因为我了解这个角色越多，表演就会越丰富越生动，就像你想起了一个很熟朋友，会有很多具体的感知。

　　记者：这次跟梁朝伟和周迅的合作怎么样？你们都不太爱讲话，现场气氛会不会也像电影里那样比较压抑沉闷？

　　王学兵：现场是比较压抑，如果不这样就没有一种氛围了。周迅以前合作过《海滩》，在那之后，我也看了她不少片子，我觉得这次是她最成熟的一次表演。以前因为她个儿小，老觉得她是个小女孩，这次我在监视器前看她的表演，觉得完全摆脱了小女孩的感觉，有一种特别的女人味。我觉得这个戏里，周迅角色最难把握。现场反而是梁朝伟来了后会轻松一点，因为他演的是个小混混嘛，看他表演是种特别享受的事儿，他在进入那个状态后，就非常专注。但等戏时，他则十分安静，因为不想分心，也没人故意要去打扰他。他还有一点特别神，经常自己一个人去看电影。

　　王学兵：我觉得形象是次要的，人物精神状态比较重要。我还是喜欢那种没心没肺的角色，实际上是种态度。我之前导的一部微电影《坚定的锡兵》改编自安徒生童话，如让我再拍，可能拍得更夸张，因为我比较喜欢胡闹。由于我长得太正了，所以大家老误会我。

　　王学兵：对，那个比较复杂，他先娶了一个老婆，然后离婚了，跟前女友结婚了；接着又离婚找回了原配，等于出去玩了一圈儿又回到了最初结婚的那个人身边，这种写法最初是让我非常惊讶的，但其实他特别大气，人物设定都非常干净，没有那种杂念。
