国家财政部10月24日发布公告称，为进一步发挥海南离岛旅客免税购物政策(以下简称离岛免税政策)效果，支持海南加快国际旅游岛建设，国务院决定调整完善离岛免税政策部分内容。并将政策适用对象的年龄条件调整为年满16周岁。将离岛旅客每人每次免税购物限额调整为人民币8000元，即单价8000元以内(含8000元)的免税商品，每人每次累计购买金额不得超过8000元，同时适当提高购买免税商品数量范围。增加美容及保健器材、餐具及厨房用品、玩具(含童车)等3类免税商品品种。调整后，免税商品品种扩大至21种，其中国家规定不符合民航安全要求、禁止进口以及20种不予减免税的商品除外。
