2013年5月9日，为期11天的首届乌镇戏剧节将在世界著名的中国江南古镇乌镇正式拉开帷幕。乌镇戏剧节是由赖声川、黄磊、孟京辉共同发起，文化乌镇股份有限公司主办，木心艺术基金会协办的全球戏剧盛会。届时，包括美国现代戏剧教父Robert Brustein、亚洲剧场导演翘楚赖声川、著名影视舞台剧制作人黄磊、著名实验戏剧导演孟京辉等众多国内外戏剧大师以及广大戏剧爱好者将齐聚乌镇，共襄戏剧盛典，掀起集社会影响、艺术品位、育才生态于一体的文化浪潮。

　　戏剧青年十二个梦想火花：以年度主题“映”为主题，面向世界各地青年舞台戏剧创作者公开征集候选剧目，为他们提供一个可以施展艺术才华的平台。并特设最佳戏剧奖以及最佳个人表现奖，对青年戏剧人予以支持，鼓励他们坚持原创作品、提升专业素养，让他们和原创戏剧作品通过乌镇戏剧节的舞台被世界认识和了解。目前，青年竞赛已开始在乌镇戏剧节官方网站（www.wuzhenfestival.com）上接受报名，报名截止日期为2013年2月28日，并于2013年3月15日公布通过初选入围的12部作品名单。入围作品的初赛于乌镇戏剧节期间进行公开演出，评委将于2013年5月18日公布进入决赛的三部剧目，并在次日由评委会投票选出最终获奖作品。
