学术研究与产业发展始终是相互融合、相互促进的，一个国家的旅游研究水平是国家旅游软实力的重要表征。30多年来，我国的旅游研究取得了长足进步，但仍存在对产业实践关注不足，过分注重工具理性的缺陷，为缩短我国旅游研究与产业实践需要的差距，并为产业发展提供更有效的对策方案和更坚实的理论支撑，我院结合我国旅游研究年度学术盛会——“中国旅游科学年会”的年度主题开展论文征集和评奖活动，将获奖论文编辑形成年度论文集《中国旅游评论》，希望通过本书及时反映我国旅游研究进展，引导学术研究方向，服务国家旅游发展大局。

　　《中国旅游评论2012》是继《中国旅游评论2011》之后的第二本中国旅游科学年会论文集，由三部分组成，约15万字。第一部分为“高端论坛”栏目。依据2012年中国旅游科学年会的主题摘发了有关领导和专家围绕年度主题“问题导向与理论建构”进行的重要发言。第二部分为研究性论文。分为基础理论、产业研究、区域旅游、年会综述等四个栏目，收录了2012年旅游科学年会评选出来的10篇优秀学术论文及2篇年会综述。第三部分为旅游科研立项及评奖情况。通报了2012年国家旅游局旅游优秀成果获奖名单，并对未来的科研立项工作进行了展望。
