　　2012年10月，中国旅游研究院发布了《中国休闲发展年度报告（2011-2012）》。该年度报告涵盖了最新的休闲发展研究成果，不仅加强了休闲理论研究，增加了我国居民休闲行为的实证研究，及时关注新兴的休闲产业，而且将中国国情与国内外先进研究成果相结合，构建了科学合理的理论框架和研究范式，并为中国休闲发展的趋势做出了分析预测。

　　本报告在研究对象上确定了“休闲”的理论边界，在研究框架上从供给和需求两个层面同时入手，在研究体系上突出年度化的系列研究主题，在研究范围上覆盖了全国重点城市和主要区域，在研究方法上侧重使用定量化分析。居民休闲研究在全国10个具有代表性的城市发放了3588份调查问卷，涵盖了各大区域和各阶层居民。休闲企业研究搜集了全国302家主营地址在中国的沪深上市、香港上市和美国上市休闲企业，研究了休闲企业的总体状况和未来发展趋势。休闲产业研究搜集了旅游、体育健身、文化娱乐、餐饮购物和其他休闲的行业数据，对各行业的总体状况和未来趋势进行了评判。

　　从我国居民休闲来看，呈现出城乡居民休闲水平二元结构显著、居民休闲时间总量不足、休闲活动内容单调、休闲空间半径偏小的特征。城镇居民工作日休闲时间在4小时以下的比重为61%，且85%以上的休闲活动局限于家庭范围内，86%以上的城镇居民休闲半径小于5公里。从我国休闲企业来看，中国休闲类企业总体规模在不断扩大，企业运营状况良好。2011年我国302家休闲上市公司总营业收入为12826亿元，总资产为19340亿元。未上市休闲企业依然是我国休闲企业的核心和主力，品牌化、集团化、综合性发展是未上市休闲企业发展的主要趋势。分布区域和所有制的非均衡化和多元化发展是我国休闲企业发展的主要趋势。从我国休闲产业来看，旅游产业、餐饮产业、文化娱乐产业、体育健身产业、互联网产业都表现出了新的特征和发展趋势，朝着更加多元化和大众化、快速增长、产业融合的方向发展。
