本报讯 莆田市博物馆新馆主体结构预计明年元旦左右封顶。记者获悉，新馆投资约2.7亿元，属省重点项目，力争在2014年投入使用。

　　在位于绶溪公园内的施工现场，记者看到，200多名施工人员正紧锣密鼓地赶工，工程已进入主体结构施工。现场负责人说，莆田市博物馆新馆去年11月动工，由同济大学建筑设计院领衔设计，建成后整个馆外观犹如一柄如意，静卧绶溪之畔。工程主要分一个主馆和一个副馆。目前主馆已完成3层梁板建设，副馆已完成4层梁板混凝土。主馆与副馆主要工程计划在元旦左右全部封顶。

　　新馆占地23.5亩，建筑面积2.6万平方米。主体建筑由一幢四层主展馆和四层副展馆组成，主馆与副馆采用钢桥架连廊连接，这是一大特色。内部布置“莆田历史文化陈列”、“妈祖文化陈列”等十大展厅和三个临时展厅。

　　记者从莆田市博物馆获悉，省文化厅日前公布省级二、三级博物馆名单，莆田市博物馆晋级为省二级博物馆，仙游县博物馆获省三级博物馆称号。
