中新网5月7日电(陆楚雨)2013年5月6日，中国外交部副部长谢杭生与塞舌尔外交部部长让-保罗·亚当在塞舌尔首都维多利亚签署了《中华人民共和国政府和塞舌尔共和国政府关于互免签证的协定》。该协定将在两国各自完成国内法律程序后生效。协定生效后，双方人员可凭有效护照免签入出境对方国家，每次停留不超过30日。鉴于塞舌尔与香港之间的直航已于今年3月开通，协定的签署将极大地节省双方人员申办签证的时间与精力，从而推动双方人员更加便捷往来。
