据新加坡《联合早报》报道，因受海平面上升威胁，马尔代夫邀请一家荷兰建筑公司着手研究建造水上浮岛。目前，这家公司正为马尔代夫设计一座包括185所浮动豪华别墅的住宅区“海洋花朵”。
