昨天，记者从北京海关获悉，海关破获一起熟食制品包裹走私象牙案件。目前这些象牙制品已被扣留。

　　18日晚上10点，首都机场海关旅检现场，海关关员从两名进境的中国籍旅客的2件托运行李和1件手提行李的熟食中发现“异物”。关员用刀切开真空包装的熟食外皮硬塑料，几片熟猪肉片里面裹着的锡纸赫然可见。打开锡纸，再剥开一层沾满了油的包装纸，露出透明的塑料袋。塑料袋里六只打造精良的象牙手镯整齐地排放在一起，中间的环形空间里塞了三枚象牙印章。经清点，共查获象牙手镯46件，象牙印章12枚，毛重为8公斤。
