根据俄中两国领导人商定，决定2012年在中国举办“俄罗斯旅游年”，2013年在俄罗斯举办“中国旅游年”。俄罗斯旅游年开幕式于今年3月在北京盛大举行，两国旅游年组委会主席、副总理弗拉季斯拉夫·苏尔科夫和王岐山出席开幕式。中国计划在俄罗斯旅游年框架下举办约200场活动。
