江津区委宣传部回应称，投资26亿打造爱情天梯的说法不准确，26亿的投资，包括对四面山、爱情天梯、中山古镇、双峰寺等景点的打造与开发，并形成旅游环线。围绕爱情文化名山这一概念来打造大四面山，爱情天梯将会成为核心景点和重要的文化名片。
