　　资料显示，车内空气质量问题很早就引起环保专业人士的关注并一直在做这方面的研究，例如2007和2008年浙江大学环境与资源学院环境科学系研究生李爽依次对电车、小型巴士、普通公交车、有空调的公交车、出租车和私家小车进行苯浓度测试(苯是车内主要污染物，因为污染物来源基本相似，其他污染物和苯系物的含量分布应该也有着相似性)，在上述流动室内的苯含量测试中，由于空间相对狭窄，通风不够，经过连续两年对杭城流动室内空间的苯系物含量研究发现，城市交通工具中，私家车苯系物含量最高，电车、小型巴士、普通公交车、有空调的公交车、出租车的含量分别为：9.21、11.71、13.12、13.80和20.72微克每立方米。出租车的利用率和开窗通风都要比私家车高很多，所以私家车的苯含量不会小于出租车的苯浓度，根据我国《民用建筑工程室内环境污染控制规范》规定，室内环境中苯含量不能超过90微克每立方米，按这个标准，李爽的检测结果中，苯的含量远远没有超过这个标准。
