浙江省医学科学院7日发布声明表示，该院的确曾在2003年为转基因“黄金大米”的人体试验提供伦理审查委员会审查，但在该院伦理委员会同意实施该项目的时间段内，该项目并未实施。并且，该院也从未为美国NIH合作项目出具过进口“金大米(黄金大米，下同)”的证明。

　　声明称，2002年，美国塔夫茨大学的汤光文申请获得美国NIH资助项目“儿童植物类胡萝卜素维生素A当量研究”。经中国疾病预防控制中心营养与食品安全所荫士安研究员(论文第三合作者)介绍，该院王茵研究员(论文第四合作者)参加合作。2004年8月，塔夫茨大学与浙江省医学科学院签署合作协议，该项目美方负责人是汤光文、中方负责人是荫士安和王茵。
