　　昨天下午，郑州市农委工作人员告诉河南商报记者，瓠子，葫芦科，是夏秋两季成熟的蔬菜之一。有治水肿腹胀、疮毒的功效。但苦瓠子不可食用，它含有一种植物毒素——碱糖甙毒素，并且毒素加热后也不易被破坏，误食后可引起食物中毒，严重的会有生命危险。所以市民在吃瓠子时一定要小心。
