中新社北京2月25日电 (记者 孙自法)中国科学技术部25日下午在北京向媒体通报“重大新药创制”国家科技重大专项实施情况称，截至2012年底，该专项共立项1251个课题，中央财政共投入97亿元人民币，地方配套和带动企业投入分别41亿元、193亿元。

　　科技部重大专项办公室介绍说，中国生产的化学药物90%以上为仿制药，大量新药依赖进口，药物价格居高不下，公众医药费用负担沉重。为此，中国2008年起组织实施新药创制重大专项，针对恶性肿瘤、心脑血管疾病、糖尿病、精神性疾病、结核、重大病毒感染性疾病等10类(种)严重危害国民健康的重大疾病，系统部署化学药、现代中药和生物技术药物的研发。
