12月20日，交通运输部北海航海保障中心在天津正式挂牌运转，标志着该中心组建顺利完成，并以全新布局开始履行服务海事监管、服务航运经济的职责。

　　据北海航海保障中心副主任柴进柱介绍，该中心航标测绘管理辖区为渤海及黄海北部沿海水域，负责北方3247座沿海航标的管理和2054座海事系统所属航标的维护；水上安全通信业务管辖范围为渤海、黄海北部和中部及黑龙江干线主航道水域，南北纵跨山东、河北、天津、辽宁、黑龙江5个省市。
