在人们印象中，防治艾滋病的重任，往往由政府部门承担。但在九江市，有这么一家以关爱艾滋病患者为主要工作内容的民间公益组织——彩虹之家。九江80后小伙子晓谭，就是这家民间防艾公益组织的领头人。彩虹之家也是目前我省唯一一家以关爱艾滋病患者为主要工作的公益组织。

　　毕业于北京一所专科学校的晓谭，曾在北京从事过会计、营销策划等工作。工作之余，晓谭热衷于参加各种公益活动，中华少年儿童慈善救助基金会“天使妈妈基金”的“爱心妈妈”便是其中之一。一次他与“爱心妈妈”在北京一家孤儿院帮扶的经历，让他结识了一名7岁的艾滋孤儿，正是这个艾滋孤儿，改变了晓谭的人生轨迹。

　　2010年，回到九江的晓谭开了家不大的服装店谋生。得知九江还没有艾滋病感染者的关怀组织时，晓谭在九江市疾控中心的支持下，毛遂自荐组建了九江第一家民间防艾机构彩虹之家。3年来，彩虹之家已从最初的一名志愿者，发展到包括医生、心理医生、婚姻咨询专家、大学老师、在校大学生以及艾滋病毒感染者和艾滋病患者等志愿者共同参与的民间组织。

　　晓谭告诉记者，对艾滋病感染者或恐“艾”人群进行心理疏导，是彩虹之家最主要的工作。艾滋病患者在感染之初，心理压力非常大，甚至引发自杀倾向。为了帮助这些特殊人群，彩虹之家建立了几个艾滋病关爱QQ群，加入的人员目前有近1000人；以“江西艾滋病援助”为名的新浪微博也已有近500名关注者。彩虹之家每年还会为想去治疗又找不到合适医院的感染者提供医疗转介服务，并协助疾控中心对高危人群进行健康教育，发放安全套、宣传品等。此外，彩虹之家每年还会组织开展艾滋病关爱救助活动。协助政府相关部门为艾滋病感染者提供“四免一关怀”服务，也是彩虹之家的重要工作，为此，晓谭还常常为一些家庭困难感染者争取各种权益而四处奔走。
