广州拟建立临近保质期食品和当天到期食品消费提示制度、超过保质期食品处理情况公示制度，今后食品经营者在销售快过期食品时，必须作出醒目提示，处理过期食品的情况也需要向消费者进行公示，否则将由工商行政管理部门给予行政处罚。
