3月14日是第八个世界肾脏日，今年的主题是“肾脏——生命之本：关注急性肾损伤”。中华医学会内分泌学分会候任主任委员、北京市糖尿病专业委员会主任委员母义明指出，由于肾功能损害和糖尿病的高度相关性，糖尿病患者尤其需要尽早关注自己的肾功能，建立长期风险控制的意识，兼顾药物的疗效和安全性，在治疗早期就重视肾功能安全。
