长沙市疾病预防控制中心专家昨日提醒市民，今年4月以来，全市手足口病发病数较前两个月明显增多，以散发为主，5岁以下儿童为主要患病人群。从近年监测数据来看，全市手足口病发病呈季节性，每年4~7月是手足口病流行期，学生家长及托幼机构、学校特别是小学老师要注意防范。

　　手足口病由多种肠道病毒引起，主要通过密切接触病人的粪便、疱疹液和呼吸道分泌物（如打喷嚏的飞沫）及被污染的毛巾、玩具等物品而感染。大多数患者发病时，往往先出现发热、咽痛等症状，手掌心、脚掌心出现斑丘疹和疱疹，口腔黏膜出现疱疹和(或)溃疡，疼痛明显。少数患者病情较重，可并发脑炎、脑膜炎、心肌炎、肺炎等，如不及时治疗可危及生命。
