中新网贵阳1月7日电 (记者 张伟)由中华慈善总会、贵州省卫生厅等部门联合主办的为了我们的孩子——千名少数民族贫困家庭先心病儿童救助行动(简称“救助行动”)‘感恩长征路贵州行’活动于1月7日在贵阳正式启动，来自解放军系统医学专家、医疗人员等将免费为贵州山区贫困家庭先心病患儿进行筛查、治疗。

　　“救助行动”是针对中国0至14岁少数民族地区贫困家庭患先天性心脏病的儿童发起的一项慈善救助行动。据了解，先天性心脏病是所有先天性疾病中最严重的一种，在新生儿中的发病率为6%至9%。目前，中国约有200万患儿等待手术治疗，每年还以约12万名新生患儿递增。就中国目前的医疗水平而言，90%以上的患儿是完全可以通过手术得到治疗，像正常孩子一样生活，每个孩子的治疗费用在1.5万人民币至5万元人民币之间。但是，有一半以上患儿因其家境贫困得不到及时治疗而带来终身影响，同时给社会带来很大负担。
