10月19日，2012年第二届国际港口及航运信息化论坛在上海举行，来自政府相关部门、国际港口及航运企事业单位、航运信息技术研究机构和航运信息产品开发商的近100家单位的160多名代表在论坛上集中分享了对于国际港口及航运信息化发展的见解，并揭牌成立了航运信息产业技术创新战略联盟（以下简称联盟）。
