　　据长江海事局局长王茹军介绍，在该局辖区凡是无县级以上人民政府批文的渡口渡船渡线，必须依法立即予以禁航；凡是存在重大安全隐患的渡船，必须滞留；凡是安全管理、安全教育培训不到位，隐患整改不落实，反复出现同一类安全隐患的，必须予以重点监管，从严从重查处；凡是标志、标识不齐全，未安装AIS终端，缺少救生衣（浮具）的渡船，必须整改到位；凡是未持有合格的适任证书或实操不合格的船员，必须从严处罚并强制离船；凡是发现船员酒后值班、驾驶的，必须从重处理；凡是违反安全管理规定，海事提出后仍屡犯不改的，取消或缩短定期签证；凡是渡口渡船渡线以及船员信息有变更的，必须及时更新数据库；凡是渡船开航，必须坚持每个航次报告制度。
