　　5月1日，停泊在台湾高雄港的交通运输部救捞局“东海救101”轮举行了在台湾的首个公众开放日活动，邀请民众登船参观，展示大陆救捞系统近年来在推动两岸海上直航安全、专业救助打捞和两岸海上人命救助合作等方面作出的努力和取得的主要成果。

　　本次访问活动是继2011年“东海救113”轮成功访问台湾后，大陆海上专业救助船第二次访问台湾。交通运输部救捞局局长王振亮表示，希望通过此次活动，进一步凝聚共识，深化两岸海上人命救助技术的交流与合作。

　　“东海救101”轮是大陆最大的海上专业救助旗舰，船高相当于六层楼，总长近170米，满载排水量为6500多吨，最大救助航速22节，可在12级风浪中实施人命救助。船上还配有现代化的直升机起降平台和机库，可搭载中型救助直升机出海和返航。

　　据悉，目前，两岸已建立了24小时救助值班联系热线，签署了两岸救捞业务交流合作意向书，多次联合举行搜救演练和学术交流研讨活动，成功组织开展了多次海上搜救行动。据统计，自2003年救捞系统体制改革以来，大陆救捞系统在台湾海峡共执行救助任务416起，救助遇险人员1816人，救助遇险船舶105艘。目前，大陆救捞在台湾海峡西海岸共部署了专业救助船舶10艘、专业救助航空器4架，时刻守护海峡平安。
