日前，第十六届四大洲国际道路安全大会在京开幕，从政策、战略、技术等多个方面研讨道路安全。交通运输部副部长高宏峰出席开幕式并讲话。

　　高宏峰指出，道路交通安全是一项复杂的系统工程，涉及国家政策、驾驶人素质、车辆状况、公路设施等多个方面，从国际经验和我国实际看，科技进步和应用是提升安全的重要手段。大会旨在搭建一个学习与交流的平台，促进各国共享交通安全的先进技术和成功经验。

　　高宏峰介绍，中国政府一直致力于提高道路安全水平，2008年科技部、公安部、交通运输部联合签署了《国家道路交通安全科技行动计划》，一期项目已顺利完成，且成效显著。二期项目正在筹划当中，拟依托物联网等新一代技术来实现道路交通安全隐患的源头预防和主动干预。

　　四大洲国际道路安全大会是世界首批以道路安全研究为主题的会议之一，在道路安全领域颇具影响力。本次大会以“交流道路安全前沿、传递道路安全知识”为主题，由我国交通运输部和瑞典企业能源与交通部共同主办，中国交通运输部公路科学研究院、瑞典国家道路和运输研究院、北京工业大学具体承办。100名来自亚洲、欧洲、北美洲、非洲的国外学者和200名国内技术人员参加了此次会议。会议还举行了最新道路交通安全技术和产品展览。
