国际在线报道（记者 马里）：3月4日下午，记者在天安门广场采访了一位来自英国的老师，这位名叫本内特（Jo.Bennett）的女教师来中国已经两年了，现在长春的一所小学教英语，这次是她第一次来到北京参观天安门广场，她说她感到这里很宽广、漂亮。

　　对于现在北京正在召开的两会，本内特并不太了解。当记者问到作为一名老师对中国的教育有什么看法的时候，她说，中国的小学生上课时间太长。每天上学都很早，下学却很晚。在英国，学生都是早9点至下午3点上课。她还表示，不但上课时间长，中国学生的课后作业也太多，很多孩子没有玩的时间。针对这些问题，本内特提出了自己的建议，她说，中国老师应该把作业放在课堂上完成，更多的是教孩子们如何思考。
