“我校首批雌性转基因克隆猪今天满月!”这是南京医科大学13日下午发布的新闻，也是江苏省异种器官移植重点实验室今年8月落户该校以来取得的首批研究成果。这意味着用“超洁净”猪器官代替人体报废器官又向前迈进了一步。

　　据悉，我国每年等待器官移植的病人达150多万，由于供体短缺，只有1万病人能够如愿。“开展异种器官移植是世界公认的解决器官短缺的重要途径。”研究团队主力之一、同为中组部“千人计划”特聘专家的赵子建教授介绍说，由于猪器官大小及功能与人体器官比较一致且容易繁殖，国际上把猪作为人体异种器官移植来源的首选动物。
