全国肿瘤登记中心日前发布的《2012中国肿瘤登记年报》披露，全国每年新发肿瘤病例估计约为312万例，平均每天8550人，全国每分钟有6人被诊断为恶性肿瘤。我国居民一生罹患癌症的概率为22%。这主要是源于我国的人口老龄化。

　　据统计，全国肿瘤发病率为285.91/10万，发病率无论男女，城市均高于农村。从年龄段上看，40岁以上年龄组发病率快速升高，80岁年龄组达到最高，城市和农村变化趋势基本相同。

　　全国35岁至39岁年龄段恶性肿瘤发病率为87.07/10万，40岁至44岁年龄段恶性肿瘤发病率几乎翻番，达到154.53/10万；50岁以上人群发病占全部发病的80%以上，60岁以上癌症发病率超过1%。

　　全国肿瘤死亡率为180.54/10万，估计每年因癌症死亡病例达270万例。我国居民因癌症死亡的几率是13%，即每7至8人中会有1人因癌症死亡。

　　50岁以前肿瘤死亡率处于较低水平，但男性45岁以上、女性50岁以上死亡率有较大升高，并随年龄增长而升高。60岁以上癌症死亡约占全部癌症死亡的63%以上，死亡率达1%。
