8月16日，2012年全国大型交通运输企业安全工作座谈会在沪召开。来自交通运输行业主管部门和航运、物流企业的50多位代表齐聚一堂，全面分析了当前安全生产形势，并部署下一阶段的重点安全工作。交通运输部安全总监宋家慧出席会议并作重要讲话。

　　据了解，目前大型交通运输企业承担的交通运输量占全国80%以上，而发生的安全生产事故比例却低于5%，特别是近几年没有发生重大以上事故，为我国经济社会的发展和交通运输安全生产形势的持续稳定好转作出了重要贡献。

　　会议提出，必须大力提升交通运输企业安全发展综合实力，把安全责任落实作为长期工作目标，进一步建立牢不可破的安全工作保障链条；把安全投入保障作为关键工作要素，夯实安全生产基层基础；把加强队伍建设作为中心工作内容，全力提升全体员工安全生产能力和水平；把规范安全行为作为重要工作任务，持续推进企业安全生产标准化建设；把强化现场管理作为务实工作重点，大力强化过程监控和动态监管。
