9月7日至10日，以交通运输部党组副书记、副部长翁孟勇为组长的部安全生产第五督察组，先后赴黑龙江、辽宁开展交通运输安全生产大检查。翁孟勇在检查中强调，要针对道路客运、危险品运输、桥梁和客滚运输等重点领域，切实落实企业安全生产主体责任，采取坚决有效措施，尽快遏制交通运输重特大事故多发、频发势头，推动交通运输安全生产形势持续稳定好转。
