　　港珠澳大桥沉管隧道是国内自主研发、自主设计、自行施工的首个海底沉管隧道，隧道总长5990米，由33个管节组成，每个标准管节长180米，由8节22.5米长的节段组成，标准管节重约7.4万吨，最深沉放水深约44米；其中，首节沉管长112.5米、宽37.95米、高11.4米，沉放水深约13米，造价约1亿元，与西人工岛暗埋段隧道对接，沉放地点距桂山岛沉管预制厂约12.6公里，是33节沉管中浮运航程最长的一节。首节沉管浮运安装的顺利实施，为后续管节的浮运安装施工积累了宝贵经验。初步计划2013年完成8节沉管的浮运安装。
