  连虓:公立学校开办国际课程的这种探索和尝试的精神应该值得肯定,但当我们做这件事的时候应该做好充分的准备,不要认为聘几个外教,拿几本洋教材就是国际教育了,就可以敲锣打鼓地开课了。学校要珍惜几十年来所创造的品牌效应,而不要因为仓促从事而有损于它。我曾经被邀请去过近百家国内著名的学校,去帮助他们解决开设国际班中出现的问题,国内公立学校开设的国际班总体情况并不乐观,主要还是对于国际课程的教育核心的理解上有差距。从管理上完全采用国内的方式不行,完全仿照国外的做法也不行,中国孩子经过十几年的学习,有其固有的惯性。因此,教学的平台和师资的配备要有比较大的投入,特别是一所学校精神的平台要搭建完善,否则光凭着国内应试的方式,挤压学生考出超高分的托福和SAT并不能培养出符合国际上著名大学的学生的。我们国内很多状元申请世界名校被拒的尴尬场面依然在目。我曾经给国际教育下了一个定义:国际教育是在世界主流文化、主流价值观下的一种人才培养模式,中国好的东西也是国际教育的一部分,国际教育不是美国,不是加拿大的专利。但从个人来讲,我们还有很重要的任务需要去完成,比如说教育公平的问题,中国教育还存在很多新课题,去实践和探索。还有很多人没有机会去充分享受优势教育资源,我觉得首先要把这个精力放在那个方面,准备好了以后再去从事。国际教育在中国的教育体系中应该是一种补充而不应该成为主流,每个国家都有自己核心的价值观。我曾经谈到,国际教育是在世界共享价值观下的人才培养模式,我们中国的核心价值观是什么?就是继承传统文化,拥护社会主义,这是不能丢的教育的核心东西,而国际教育更强调的是独立的精神和思想,从办学的方向和理念是有一定的差异的,因此,国际学校对于目前我们国家培养跨国人才,对于我们固有教育体制的重要补充,满足家长需求意义重大,但不应该成为主流。
