孔子铜像揭幕仪式9日在俄罗斯莫斯科国立国际关系学院(以下简称“莫国关”)举行。中国驻俄罗斯大使李辉、莫国关院长托尔库诺夫等人士出席了仪式并发表了热情洋溢的讲话。托尔库诺夫在致辞中指出，孔子不仅对中国和亚洲地区的文化影响深远，他的著作在16世纪时就已经在欧洲出现，同时他的许多学说直到今天都焕发着生命力，这些都是莫国关树立孔子铜像的原因。李辉表示，孔子作为中国的大教育家、思想家，已经成为中国文化的标志。莫国关校园里树立起孔子铜像，这表现了莫国关师生对中国人民和中华文化的喜爱之情，他向莫国关表示感谢。随后莫国关的学生用中俄两种语言简介了孔子生平及其思想。
