澳大利亚墨尔本大学工程系华裔学生曹丽君是第一个被授予澳大利亚杰出青年称号的华裔女性，12月5日她在广东工业大学演讲时表示，希望有更多年轻的女性能够站在工程科学的最前沿。

　　 22岁的曹丽君在2008年创立了“Robogals Global”组织，以有趣的方式向高中女生传授有关科学和科技方面的知识，进而鼓励她们对从事工程及技术领域工作产生兴趣。至今，该组织已在澳大利亚、新西兰、日本和英国共有17个分支机构，并向超过6000名女学生传授了机器人学科知识。

The 22-year-old CaoLiJun created in 2008"Robogals Global"organization,In an interesting way to teach high school girls about science and technology knowledge,And then encourage them to engaged in engineering and technology field of interest in work.has,The organization has in Australia/New Zealand/The Japanese and British were 17 branches,And more than 6000 female students to teach the robot subject knowledge.

　　 “我记得从凯恩斯的高中毕业的200多个毕业生中，只有3个女生和我一样选择了工程学，那时我以为到了墨尔本大学应该可以找到很多同类。结果直到学期末的时候，我才找到另外4个和我一样学工程学的女生。但其实，我们学工程学并不比男生差。”曹丽君说，女性在工程学领域的缺位让她思考，这才有了后来的Robogals Global。

　　 Robogals Global成立初期名气并不大，曹丽君的梦想是让所有澳大利亚人都知道她们的组织，于是她很快策划了一次“机器人舞蹈”活动，向同学和朋友推介。“活动当天下着大雨，我清楚地记得，我和3个朋友一起撑着雨伞在雨中等待，结果最后只有一个人参加我们的活动。”

　　 活动失败后，曹丽君并不气馁，她开始策划一场更大的活动。两个半月后，在墨尔本大学的草坪上，350多名大学生齐刷刷地跳起了“机器人舞蹈”，有一些学生从头到脚裹上金属箔纸，有的身穿海盗装，该活动最终打破了集体跳“机器人舞蹈”的世界纪录，被众多媒体报道，Robogals Global也由此被年轻人热捧。

　　 曹丽君在澳大利亚凯恩斯出生长大，她的童年生活过得并不富足但快乐。“3岁那年我父母离婚了，母亲带着我和哥哥去收容站住了很长一段时间。母亲一周要工作7天，在酒店厨房帮工，虽然生活拮据，但母亲还是坚持送我和哥哥去上学，她对我影响很大。”
