新洲李集街李正村的李英华是当地街知巷闻的“识字大王”，不仅认识3万多个汉字，还能说出每个汉字的意思。不少人上门“挑战”，都没能难住他。李爹爹今年已64岁，他想挑战吉尼斯世界纪录，成为首个获得国际认证的“识字大王”。

　　李英华9岁时意外摔伤了腿，落下了残疾。休学在家时，他借来同学的课本，让哥哥辅导了一年，重返学校后，原本要留级的他却考了年级第一，得到了校长的表扬，并从此养成了自学的习惯。
