独居老人童老伯因脑梗塞，经抢救无效在医院病逝。然而，当院方通知老人仅有的一名近亲属童女士前来处理后事时，童女士却以自己与老人长期不相来往为由，拒绝配合。于是，医院将童女士告上法庭，要求其办理相关丧葬事宜，并结算医疗费用。近日，上海市黄浦区人民法院作出判决，医疗费在童老伯遗产范围内清偿，丧葬事宜则应由童女士办理。

　　已过耄耋之年的童老伯，早年与妻子离婚后就独自一人居住生活。2011年6月23日，童老伯在家突发脑梗塞倒地不省人事，幸被房东发现后及时送往医院抢救。次日，童老伯原工作单位退管会到医院办理了入院手续，并支付了住院押金和护工费用。
