　　范信德，中山大学孙逸仙纪念医院司机。2003年1月30日，中山大学孙逸仙纪念医院接收一名从芳村转来的 “非典”患者， 就是后来被称为“毒王”的周作芬。2月1日，病人被转运到中山三院继续治疗，范信德承担转送任务。由于病人在救护车上大量呕吐，执行完转送任务后，范信德给救护车清洗消毒，三天后突然发病并被确诊。2月23日，他因抢救无效逝世，享年57岁。他是广东省在抗击“非典”战争中最早以身殉职的医务人员，被省政府追认为革命烈士。
