新学期伊始，上海市嘉定区实验小学发现100多个小学生有iPad，学校遂开出了两个“苹果班”，一共90个学生。这两个班的学生可以用iPad上课，回答问题，回家做练习。对此，部分家长很感兴趣，但也有家长充满了疑虑。对家长的疑虑，学校的措施是与家长签《iPad使用协议书》。
