据中国华文教育网站消息，在中秋佳节将临之际，新南威尔士州议会与澳大利亚中文学校联合会在州议会大厦联袂举办表彰大会，由州上议院议员莫索曼代表新州议会，向曾经获得中国政府授予“优秀(或杰出)海外中文教师”称号并颁发奖状的39位中文教师，隆重颁发镶有金边镜框的优秀教师表彰证书，为喜迎中秋佳节的华人社区以及中文教师们奉送了一份温馨的节日厚礼。
