　　熊丙奇：我觉得这个种子可能会起到试验中美教育合作的作用，但是对促进中国内地教育的改革要起到怎样的作用却有待观察，因为虽然这是中美首家的合作，但实际上中外合作办学的学校在我国内地已经有多所，对这几所中外合作办学的学校的情况进行分析，我们可以发现这些学校本身办学质量还是不错的，由于使用了原版教材，外地教师，而且学费也比较高，也比较重视教育质量，因此还是得到了学生的认可。但是在办好这所学校之外对于内地高等教育改革的作用却十分有限，因为从整体上来看中外合作办学的学校其实还是纳入我国整体的教育管理的，因此对内地高校的竞争促进作用不大，而且这些学校的办学模式相对于它在海外这种母体学校的办学模式来做已经不是一样的了，不是完全充分的自主办学。

　　熊丙奇：我觉得这所大学不会吸引我。首先来讲，我考量这个大学首先考量这个学费。10万元每年的学费我觉得太高了，是我们国内公办学校的学费标准是10倍以上，目前所有中外合作办学当中学费最高的，在这种学费标准之下我有两个选择，如果我自己能够付出这个学费的话，再加上生活费和住宿费，我的英语也过关我就直接到国外去留学了，到纽约大学读书不是挺好的嘛，或者到香港这些高校去读书也是挺好的。再有一个如果中国出不了这笔钱，我成绩比较好，我就考华东师范大学，我读完四年的书总共的学费还没有十万呢，而且拿到的学位认可程度还会超出这种新创的大学。它是处在比较尴尬的状态，生源只能吸引那些准备出国留学但是可能没有到海外一流大学录取的学生从中再筛选出来一部分学生，作为他的招生对象，吸收不了优秀的生源，可能是在出国留学中再去捞一笔学生过来，在划分出国留学的市场仅此而已。

　　熊丙奇：从目前这个学校所公布的三位一体的招生方案来看，没有任何的突破，一方面可以会像南科大也是三位一体放在我们的高考的提前的招生，还有像内地的80所高校招生，在高考之前进行测试，然后学校适当降格录取，因为如果要有突破很简单，一个学生可以获得多所大学录取通知书再做选择，如果说一个学生可以申请纽约大学同时可以申请内地的其他高校，然后我拿到录取通知书之后再来选择，这才是真正突破，如果最后我们的学生只能获得一张大学录取通知书，而且纽约上海大学也是作为所有学校中的一所来对待的话，其结果就是我们没有给予学生更多的选择权，也没有突破现有的自主招生的格局，最终对整个高考的自主招生的探索的价值还是有限的。

　　熊丙奇：应该讲按照国家教改规划纲要和地方的教育改革规划纲要，会有越来越多的地方会采取引进海外著名大学来内地大学的方式，因为这是作为国家的一个发展高等教育的一个战略，但是我认为对于引进海外的高等大学到内地办学除了采取中外合作办学的模式之外，应该探索新的模式，就是直接允许海外的大学来内地办分校，完全采取他们的招生、培养、管理、学位授予模式在内地办学，如果局限于中外合作办学的模式，那么可能会增加内地一所高等教育学校或者这个学校质量也还不错，但是它的作用也就仅此而已，对于推动中国教育的改革作用是非常有限的。而目前我国高等教育的发展面临着最大的困惑不是缺高等教育资源，而是需要改革教育管理的制度，只有通过教育制度的改革，扩大学校的办学主权，让学校自主招生，自主设置课程，自主设置专业，然后探索创新的人才培养模式，才能整体提高我国内地的高等教育质量，这才是我们应该着重去推动的事情。
