身高229厘米的姚明近日现身台湾政治大学，与政大学生分享“从姚明的高度看世界：中华文化是一种世界语”，这是姚明在台湾校园演讲处女秀。

　　姚明说，他在小学三年级开始打球，12岁以前衣服不用订做，从不逃课，现在他的目标是做一位好父亲。姚明演讲时谈中华文化，他说，中华文化来自笔下汉字的优美及古圣先贤的教诲，文化是在历史中流淌，若遇到东西文化不兼融，就发挥中华文化海纳百川的胸怀。如今不同文化正走向融合，修身齐家治国平天下，彼此互相学习与包容。
