　　我的家在新疆，父母都是做生意的，家庭经济状况还不错。我现在是四川某大学的一名大四学生。当我满怀憧憬进入大学时，一些潜在的东西被激发了，它不是学习的热情，不是奋斗的激情，而是奢侈消费的虚荣心。

　　一进校园，看见身边许多人的穿着都是名牌，如鞋子基本上是NIKE(耐克)、adidas(阿迪达斯)等。想着自己高中时穿个“特步”都觉得了不起，看来大学生真的高了不止一个档次。进教室上课，许多人拿出的不是笔记本，而是一款款触屏手机，可以将老师在课堂上放的课件直接拍下来。有几个同学用的仍是按键式手机，都不敢拿出来示人。我心里的王牌手机是NOKIA(诺基亚)，却是大家觉得该淘汰的。

　　回到宿舍，大家经常七嘴八舌地聊衣服、化妆品，说着说着变成化妆品大比拼了，谁谁的护肤套装好、谁谁的睫毛膏上档次、谁谁的口红是名牌。同学每次逛街回来，都会在宿舍里当着大家的面一件件试穿新买的衣服。每当这时，我心里的“小恶魔”就告诉自己，这周末我该去买衣服了。因为别人都买了，自己家庭条件又不差，干吗不买，钱不就是花的吗。而且每次向父母要钱，他们从不说不给，还说这辈子挣钱就是为了我。有句话说：“欲望是填不满的沟壑”，而我觉得应该是“深渊”，一脚踏进去就越陷越深。

　　我们宿舍有5人，3人的家庭条件不错，两人的家庭经济状况很不好。而其中一个叫小玉的，家里很贫困，有3兄妹。她长得很清秀，刚上大一时我很喜欢她，虽然有点土气，但是给人的感觉很懂事。她告诉我，她上得起大学是因为申请上了助学贷款、绿色通道，加入了贫困库有补助等，还说将来要挣很多钱。当时我看见的是她的认真和努力。可是后来，或许是她第一次给自己脸上补粉时，因为补得太白被我们嘲笑而发生了改变，或许是大家老是聊一些高消费的东西发生了改变，或许是别的东西。总之，我看见她打扮得越来越时尚，越来越会化妆、粘假睫毛、贴双眼皮，衣服也越来越多，而买这些衣物的钱都是她逃课出去打工赚来的。她的腰杆越来越直，有一次，她在宿舍高声地对我们说：“我卡里现在有两万多元钱了，都不知道干吗用，先存着吧！”

　　我们学的是新闻专业，这个专业有一些对单反相机的需求，大家基本上都买了。有一次我在宿舍过道里听见班里一个女生大声哭喊着：“我就要买，你给不给买？班里的人都买了，就我没有，你要不给我买，我自己赚钱买……”后来，我看见她拿着8000多元买的单反相机，跟其好友一起在校园里拍照。
