2010年9月26日,王春易正式开始了单元教学的变革,即在同一个模块,把不同章节的内容整合在一起进行教学。比如,像细胞的增殖,细胞的分化,细胞的衰老、凋亡,细胞的癌变,可以整合为"细胞的生命历程"。然后,把相关的内容再整合为生物的变异的内容,由此进一步扩大整合的范围,把不同模块之间也进行整合。结果,王春易发现,在生物学科中,不管是必修还是选修,都有很多结合点,都可以整合到一起进行学习。
