　　闵拥军今年36岁。16岁那年癫痫发病，之后辍学。中间去过河南郑州开店，维修电器。没多久就关门歇业。此后赋闲在家，与父母同住。妻子则在武汉打工。两个女儿也多是爷爷奶奶照料。村民们眼中，闵拥军偶尔干点农事，喜欢练武。

　　因为身患癫痫，“病人”闵拥军常常“出事”，但并不算严重。大部分情况是在家抽搐晕厥。严重的，也就是在发病之后，无意识地外出游荡。休息两三个小时之后，就和平常人一样。可在家无事的闵拥军决意治病。他曾北上北京寻医问药。也曾经私下用农村土方，却导致病情加重。

　　闵拥军后来还养过蜈蚣，赔了本。又要养猪，因为实在没钱，没有养成。久病不治，加上生活屡屡受挫，本就固执的闵拥军，脾气也越来越急躁。

　　这些散落在闵拥军十几年生活中的碎片，却在案发前的数天，拼凑在了一起。从12月11号到13号下午，他接连发病四次。
