记者从番禺警方了解到，12月29日上午大学城发生一宗坠楼事件，一名在校大学生坠楼死亡。

　　12月29日7时许，番禺警方接到大学城某高校保卫处报警称，在该校生活区有一男子坠楼。接报后，番禺警方迅速派出民警到场处置，经“120”医务人员证实坠楼男子已经死亡。

　　经民警现场勘查和走访，坠楼者为该校09级学生郑某(男，22岁，湖南省人)，初步认定为高坠死亡，死因无可疑。据记者了解到，死者家属已在当天来到学校，情绪平稳，对死亡没有异议。目前，警方正对该起事件作进一步调查。 (王普)
