　　活动现场，8名小讲解员为大家讲述关于雷锋的故事。“下面我为大家讲解这尊雷锋塑像，1989年，学校筹建雷锋展示，求助到雕塑家……”二年级的吴宇伦今年7岁，是讲解员中年纪最小的一个。经过班上老师和同学的筛选，他利用暑期和课余时间，熟读雷锋的故事，最终成为校雷锋讲解团中的一分子，为更多的小学生讲述雷锋故事。

　　吴宇伦说，他得知自己被选为雷锋讲解员后，感觉特别光荣。寒假就在家里练习、背诵。“最重要的是记住故事大概内容，我记不住的时候都用自己的话说。”吴宇伦认真地告诉记者。

　　北京雷锋小学原名为西城区双寺小学，1973年，大队辅导员卢锦华为了丰富孩子们的业余文化生活，在地摊上淘了一本《雷锋日记》。令人意想不到的是，这本《雷锋日记》格外受孩子们的欢迎，孩子们都追“雷锋叔叔”。

　　据雷锋小学校长刘淑银说，40年中，雷锋小学坚持用雷锋精神教书育人，让孩子们把学雷锋课程化。他们将雷锋故事编排进课本、开展续写《雷锋日记》活动，利用社会资源与雷锋班手拉手，并建立了雷锋纪念馆，让学生们感知雷锋精神、学习雷锋精神。
