中新网南京12月12日电 (盛捷)12日，东南大学附属中大医院的新病房大楼投入使用，东南大学附属中大医院院长刘乃丰教授介绍，大楼的建设不追求奢华，而是注重流程设计，为病人营造舒适的就医住院环境。新大楼的10楼是现代化血液净化中心也是江苏单体最大的透析中心启用，而5楼的重症医学科(ICU)也是目前江苏省规模最大的ICU。

　　新大楼的10楼是现代化血液净化中心。中大医院肾脏科刘必成教授介绍，透析中心宽敞明亮，严格区分污染和非污染区，透析用水全部采用国际先进的超纯水，总装机容量105台，是目前江苏单体最大的血液透析中心。为了满足患者个性化的需求，该中心在每张透析病床配备了一台平板电脑，免费提供给透析患者使用的。
