提起“80后”，常伴随着自我中心，随心所欲，眼高手低等负面评价。不久前，我到南美洲的智利、秘鲁、阿根廷、巴西4国采访，有机会接触到他们中的一部分，在他们身上，我看到了乐观、独立、勤奋、好学等优秀品质。在这些非英语国家的孔子学院中，师资问题十分突出：一方面，目前拉美地区是世界上汉语学习者人数增加最快的地区；另一方面，我国西班牙语、葡萄牙语等小语种人才培养的数量和储备不多，可派出的汉语教师有限。这时，年轻的志愿者们挑起了大梁。

　　作为女孩子，莹莹也有着小烦恼23岁的她还没有男朋友。来巴西之前，因为大部分时间用来充实自己或者参加各种活动，没把谈恋爱的事放在心上。到巴西后，接触的中国人十分有限，加之教学任务繁重，选择的机会就更少了。身边的志愿者同事中，大多在国内时就有了稳定的男友或已结婚，还有的交上了巴西男友。再看国内的同学，也在谈着恋爱向婚姻前进。

　　其实，除了以上烦恼，年轻的“80后”汉语教师志愿者在海外要承受的还有寂寞。在秘鲁天主教大学孔子学院采访时，一个汉语老师拉着我的手说：“好久都没和中国人说过中国话了。”她当时的眼神和这句话让我久久难忘。远离祖国和亲朋，让这些“80后”率先尝到了寂寞，也学会了勇敢和坚强。在我走访的多所孔子学院中，汉语教师志愿者都担负着繁重的教学任务，平均每周上课20课时，还要准备孔子学院举办的各类文化推广活动，对此他们毫无怨言。他们说，自己选择做对外汉语教师志愿者，为的就是锻炼自己，积累人生经验，所以苦点儿累点儿都不算什么。
