小学“奥数热”高烧不退，引起了多位数学家的忧虑。国家最高科技奖得主、国内数学界泰斗级人物吴文俊院士批评说，奥数是“害人的，害数学”。中科院数学与系统科学研究院首任院长、著名数学家杨乐院士表示，奥数培训班是进行突击训练，对成为数学家起不到作用。
